Walk the Talk: The Health for All Challenge

World Health Organization’s  first-ever Walk the Talk: The Health for All Challenge event being held on Sunday 20 May in Geneva, on the eve of the World Health Assembly, and to mark the Organization’s 70th anniversary.

You can move in any way you like – walk, jog, run, dance, use your wheelchair. Bring your friends and family. The event is free-of-charge and open to people of all ages. 

 

International and local Geneva is coming together for this event: Swiss and Geneva City and Canton authorities, permanent missions of multiple countries, United Nations agencies, civil society organizations and more are mobilizing. Special guests from the fields of sports, politics, academia and health advocacy will be joining.

 

The event is scheduled to start with warm-ups, music and other activities at 9.30am-9.45am at Place des Nations before the participants start off on the route at 11am. Activities will be held over five thematic locations, promoting WHO’s main priorities, at Place des Nations, WHO, Jardin Botanique, Villa Barton and Bains des Pâquis, with the event wrapping up around 1pm.
