On 21-22 August 2013, the Movement for Global Mental Health (MGMH) will be hosting the 3rd Global Mental Health Summit in Bangkok, Thailand. Acting as the Secretariat for MGMH, the Centre for International Mental Health (CIMH) at the University of Melbourne is applying for funding to assist potential participants from eligible developing countries to attend the Summit.
MGMH is applying for funding through AusAID’s International Seminar Support Scheme (ISSS), which assists with travel, accommodation and living expenses at international seminars. ISSS does not, however, cover registration fees or costs associated with visas or travel insurance. If the application is successful, the nominated individuals will be able to have financial support to participate in the Summit.
Unfortunately, only members from countries listed below are eligible to receive funding. If you are from any of the below countries and you are interested in being nominated for financial support to contribute to the Summit, please complete the following brief online survey. The information we are requesting are required for the grant application so please answer all of the questions.
Please click this link and complete this short survey: https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/K32KKYH
The deadline for this application is very soon, so we require your response no later than Friday, May 17.
Please note that this funding application in no way prevents you from attending the Summit independently via other means. If you have other sources of funding to participate, we encourage you to use those means so that we can try to support those who need financial support most within the $50,000 budget limit.
Thank you for your time and consideration, and we look forward to receiving your response.
